Thoughts: Following the more experimental (and less interesting) album, Was Here, Stand Atlantic have leaned harder on their roots for Godbreath. Tracks like “Lucid” and “Gimme a Show” bring to mind the days of Skinny Dipping, while others like “Finger,” “Teeth,” and “Edge of Vegas” are more reminiscent of the band’s later experiments with modern pop-fusings. Ultimately, Godbreath reminds me of the now-defunct group Car Party, which is a very good thing. It’s a mix of everything the band has done to this point, making it almost like a greatest hits record but with all new material.

Two Tracks OSM Would Make the Singles: “Velcro” (familiar and playful pop-punk that draws you in instantly) and “Favourite Flavour” (a sexy and melodic radio hit)
